Pupil Premium / SEN

"Guaranteed small class sizes max 24 ensuring enhanced adult to child ratio"

Pupil Premium

The DA funding is additional financial resources a school receives to help close the attainment gap between pupils from low-income and other disadvantaged families, and their peers. If a pupil is eligible for Fee School Meals (FSM) at any point over the past 6 years or has been looked after for one day or more (Looked after Child LAC), the school receives an amount per head within their budget. A provision is also made for pupils who have a parent in the armed services.

Through clearly defined roles and the support of the governors, the Head of the School is responsible for ensuring a clear strategy for DA is understood and implemented by the staff team. With the deputy, head they will regularly evaluate pupil premium outcomes compared to other pupils to ensure the correct strategies and provision are in place.
